Information on Fraudulent Job Offers:
Basking Biosciences (“Basking”) is aware that some job seekers have received false employment offers or recruitment emails from individuals or organizations posing as Basking. The individuals or organizations sending these false employment offers may send requests seeking to gain personal information, items of value or monetary funds under the premise that doing so is required to further the recruitment process.
Basking never requests passport details, financial information, items of value or money from job seekers for any reason as part of the recruitment process. Individuals who receive an offer of employment from Basking are always required to go through a formal recruitment process, which includes an interview with a member of Basking’s hiring team.
Legitimate email communications from Basking will also only use emails that end in “@baskingbiosciences.com” and come from a Basking employee. Fraudulent emails claiming to be sent by Basking or Basking employees may come from similar sounding emails with endings like “@baskingbiosciencesjobs.com” or “@basking.com” or even emails ending in common public domain addresses with endings like “@gmail.com,” “@hotmail.com” or “@yahoo.com.” There can also be instances of fraudulent communications that use the names and pictures of known company employees claiming to be sent from those employees, or that even link out to fake websites that were created to look and feel like the real company website.
If you feel that you have been a potential victim of an employment application scam, please contact the Internet Crimes Complaint Center at www.ic3.gov. The Internet Crimes Complaint Center is an FBI entity that aggregates criminal events in order to analyze and prosecute numerous related scams.
Agency Non-Solicitation Policy:
Basking Biosciences does not accept unsolicited referrals or resumes from any source other than directly from candidates or other authorized representatives. We will not consider unsolicited referrals and/or resumes from vendors including and without limitation, search firms, staffing agencies, fee-based referral services and recruiting agencies. The submission of referrals or resumes by anyone other than a candidate or authorized representative directly to Basking Biosciences is strictly prohibited. Unsolicited referrals and resumes sent to Basking Biosciences are deemed gratuitous, and the company will not be obligated or bound in any way to pay any referral or other fee if a person referred to us from a source other than a candidate is hired.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, resumes will be accepted from approved vendors who have written agreements in place with Basking Biosciences, and then only to the extent such agreement covers a specified position and, if required by such agreement, the submission of resumes by the vendor has been authorized in writing by Basking Biosciences for such specified position. Any resume submitted in the absence of a signed agreement will become the property of Basking Biosciences and no fee shall be due.
